8 Nights & 9 Days NZ SIC

 Day 1: Arrival in Auckland: Sky Tower (Self Transfer)

Upon landing in the ‘city of sails’ you will get a SIC transfer to your Hotel. After checking in to your hotel, you will have the rest of the day at your leisure. In the evening, visit Sky Tower which is the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere. It’s an exciting hub of adrenaline activities, superb dining and breathtaking views.



Day 2: Auckland: Auckland City Tour

After breakfast, experience the highlights of Auckland city with its numerous volcanoes and the marine village of Devonport on Auckland's North Shore on a personal small group tour with TIME Unlimited Tours, winner of multiple global awards including the National Geographic World Legacy Award. Be amazed by dramatic views of numerous volcanoes, expansive vistas across Auckland's Waitamata Harbour on the Pacific Ocean and the marine village of Devonport.


 Day 3: Auckland to Rotorua via Waitomo Glowworm Caves Tour

After breakfast, upon check out of the hotel in Auckland and commence a full day tour to Rotorua via Waitomo. Depart Auckland and travel through the lush farmland of the Waikato and King Country regions. Your experienced local driver guide will provide commentary and point out highlights along the way such as Rangiriri, where in 1863 a major battle was fought between colonial forces and those loyal to the Maori King. On arrival in the small town of Waitomo enjoy a guided tour through the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves, a series of limestone caves formed over 30 million years ago. Learn all about stalactites, stalagmites and other limestone formations as you walk through the caverns and finish the tour with a silent boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto - illuminated by thousands of tiny glowworms.Your journey to Rotorua continues, passing through the beautiful Fitzgerald Glade where trees arch over the road to form a tunnel of natural greenery.

 Day 4: Rotorua: Te Puia: Te Ra 60 Min. Day Pass + Agrodome Sheep Farm Show + Rainbow Spring Nature Park

Today after breakfast, head out to commence a Rotorua Sights half day morning tour. Experience Te Puia, a place of Maori culture and a thermal wonderland of impressive geysers and boiling mud pools before exploring Rainbow Springs Nature Park, which showcases native flora and fauna as well as the New Zealand Kiwi. Then see New Zealand's agricultural industry in action with a sheep shearing display and sheep dog trials at The Agrodome.


Day 5: Queenstown: Leisure Day

Today after breakfast, check out from the hotel in Rotorua and get SIC transfer to Rotorua airport. Board on your flight Rotorua to Queenstown. Upon landing in Queenstown, you will get a SIC transfer to your hotel in Queenstown, after checking in to your hotel, you will have the rest of the day at your leisure. This vibrant city has a lot to offer, we will give you a list of suggested eateries, bars and cafes, closer to your arrival.  Day 6: Queenstown: Milford Sound Cruise Ex Queenstown

After a good night’s rest and a hearty breakfast, you head out to commence full day Milford Sound Tour. Where you will board a ferry to start a magnificent journey through the waters to experience one of the world’s natural wonders. Get up close to steep cliffs rising out of the deep blue water and watch fur seals sunbathing on rocks. Visit the 160-metre high Bowen Falls or the Stirling Falls, which cascade into the fiord, like a giant shower. Some boats have underwater viewing observatories. Look out for penguins and dolphins, as well as whales – the occasional one makes it all the way into the fiords.



 Day 7: Queenstown: Skyline Gondola Ride (Self Transfer)

After a good night’s rest and a hearty breakfast, you will head out to experience Gondola Ride. Take a scenic Gondola ride on the Southern Hemisphere's steepest Gondola for quick and easy access to Queenstown's most spectacular views. The Gondola rises 450 vertical metres above Queenstown on an average incline of 37.10 to the Skyline complex on Bob's Peak.


Day 8: Queenstown to Christchurch via Mount Cook Day Tour

After a good night’s rest and a hearty breakfast, commence a full day tour to Christchurch. The tour departs Queenstown in the morning and travels through ruggedly beautiful landscape and over the Lindis Pass before venturing into the Mackenzie Country. Enter the amazing Aoraki / Mt Cook National Park, home to New Zealand's highest mountain. After a stop for lunch (at own expense) in Mt Cook Village and a chance to enjoy the amazing alpine scenery, the afternoon is spent travelling past Lake Pukaki and on to Lake Tekapo, and catch a view at the solitary Church of the Good Shepherd and take in the sights of the spectacular Southern Alps mountain range. Continue through the diverse farmland of the Canterbury Plains before arriving in Christchurch.

   

Day 9: Departure Day

As per your return tickets, you will get SIC transfer to Christchurch Airport. Board your flight back to your home with sweet memories.
